I've Learned :
I've learned that you cannot make someone love you .
All you can do is be some that can be loved ,
the rest is up to them .
I've learned that no matter how much I care ,
some people just don't care back .
I've learned that it takes years to build up trust ,
and only seconds to destroy it .
I've learned that it's not what you have in your life ,
but who you have in your life that counts .
I've learned hat you can get by on charm for about fifteen minutes .
After that, you'd better know something .

I've learned that you shouldn't compare yourself to the best others can do .
I've learned that you can do some thing in an instant that will give you heartache for life .
I've learned that it's taking me a long time to become the person I want to be .
I've learned that you should always leave loved ones with loving words .
It may be the last time you see them .
I've learned that you can keep going long after you can't .
I've learned that we are responsible for what we do, no matter how we feel .
That either you control your attitude or it controls you .
I've learned that heroes are the people who do what has to be done regardless of the consequences .

I've learned that money is a lousy way to keep score .
I've learned that my best friend and I can do anything or nothing and have the best time .
I've learned that the people you expect to kick you when you're down will be the ones to pick you back up .
I've learned that sometimes when I'm angry I have the to be angry ,
but that doesn't give me the right to be cruel .
I've learned that just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have .
I've learned that maturity has more to do with what types of experiences you've had and what you've from them and less to do with how many birthdays you've celebrated .
I've learned that you should never tell a child their dreams are unlikely or outlandish .
Few things are more humiliating ,
and what a tragedy it would be if they believed it .

I've learned that no matter good a friend is ,
they're going to hurt you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that.
I've learned that no matter how bad your heart is broken the world doesn't stop for your grief.
I've learned that our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are, b
ut we are responsible for who we become .
I've learned that even when you think you have no more to give ,
when a friend cries out to you, you will find the strength to help .

The seven gifts I would love to give to my family and friends :

The Gift of Love :
May you find love in your family and your friends.
And may you share the love you have to give.
When you share your love, it comes back to you in many forms.

"Love is a fruit in season at all times, and within the reach of every hand." - Mother Teresa
"To live a little, you've got to love a whole lot. Love turns the ordinary into the extraordinary."

- Author Unknown

The Gift of Laughter :
May laughter fill your home, relieve your stress, and strengthen your friendships. Do not let a day go buy without laughing; it is good for your health.

"Laughter is a tranquilizer with no side effects." - Arnold Glasow
"Let there be more joy and laughter in your living." - Eileen Caddy

The Gift of Living Each Day to The Fullest :
Every day is a gift, and may you use this gift by living life to the fullest. You will never have this day again. What will you do with it?

"Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. And today? Today is a gift. That's why we call it the present." - Babatunde Olatunji
"There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle." - Albert Einstein

The Gift of Not Worrying :
May your days be worry-free. If you find yourself worrying about something then fix it. If it is beyond your control, then there is no sense in worrying about it. 90% of what you worry about will never happen, so why worry!

"I've seen many troubles in my time, only half of which ever came true." - Mark Twain
"When I look back on all the worries I remember the story of the old man who said on his deathbed that he had a lot of trouble in his life, most of which never happened." - Sir Winston Churchill

The Gift of Positive Thinking :
May you find the good in all situations, even if you have to look for it - look because it is there. No matter what happens in your life, find the good. Your life will be a happier one.

"Every problem has a gift for you in its hands." - Richard Bach
"There are always flowers for those who want to see them." - Henri Matisse

The Gift of Balance in Your Life :
May you find the balance of life, time for work but also time for play. Too much of one thing ends up creating stress that no one needs in their life.

"Live a balanced life - learn some and think some and draw and paint and sing and dance and play and work every day some." - Robert Fulghum
In fact, everyone should take time out once in a while to recharge and revitalize their energy.
The key is to have a balanced life." - Michael Lee, CPA

The Gift of Goal Setting :
May all your dreams turn into goals. Goals will help you accomplish things you may have thought impossible.

"If you have a goal in life that takes a lot of energy, that requires a lot of work, that incurs a great deal of interest and that is a challenge to you, you will always look forward to waking up to see what the new day brings." - Susan Polis Schultz
"Goals determine what you're going to be." - Julius Erving
